Intuit Mailchimp, Product Design Intern

My intern days! What a wonderful way to begin my Mailchimp journey. During my internships at Mailchimp, I had the opportunity to work on the Customer Empowerment Domain focusing on improving the experience of internal customers (Our Mailchimp Support Teams).  This role was crucial for my development as a Product Designer. I collaborated daily with a Senior Product Designer and learned the full scope of responsibilities that come with leading designs in a project.

In the duration of my internships, I supported our team in:

  • Improving efficiency and productivity for Product Support Representatives by streamlining the structure and revising elements of our support team’s main internal page.

  • Using research to lead our design iterations, participated in testing and interviews, and across iterated designs as I received constructive feedback.

  • Communicating effectively with individuals across 5 different teams: Product Design, Service Design, Support Insights Analysts, Engineering, and Technical Support.
